Martial Glacier – Sunset Experience with skilift
Enjoy a unique winter experience in the mountains, combining a chairlift ascent, a snowshoe hike, sunset at higher altitude, and a descent with crampons. We travel through snowy landscapes to enjoy the sunset from the mountain and then continue back as night begins to fall, surrounded by forest, snow, and panoramic views of Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel, and the Fuegian Andes. A special outing completed with a hot drink in the mountains and a final stop at Beer Point.

The experience
Discover Martial Mountain from a different perspective on an experience combining a chairlift ride, trekking and panoramic views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel during the final hours of daylight.
We begin with pick-up at your accommodation and a transfer to the mountain centre. There, we board the chairlift, enjoying the scenery as we ascend towards the upper slopes, where our walk begins.
Accompanied by your guide, we explore the Martial mountain landscape and make our way towards a viewpoint overlooking the city, the channel and the surrounding mountains. When snow conditions require it, we use snowshoes to walk across the snowy terrain. As the afternoon progresses, the changing light invites us to pause, take photographs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Along the way, we stop to share a hot drink and take in the views before beginning our descent on foot. Depending on the terrain and available daylight, we use crampons and headlamps. As night falls, the atmosphere changes, offering a different way to experience the mountain and native Fuegian forest.
At the end of the walk, we unwind at Beer Point with a beer or a drink of your choice before returning to your accommodation.
