The experience

We pick you up at your accommodation in Ushuaia and set off on an adventure into the heart of Tierra del Fuego. Following National Route 3, we travel through glacial valleys, mountains and vast forests, leaving the city behind as we discover the landscapes of the Fuegian Andes.

The road takes us to Garibaldi Pass, where we cross the mountain range and stop to enjoy one of the most memorable views of the day. From this lookout, we admire Lake Escondido, surrounded by mountains and forests whose colours change with the seasons. There is time to take photographs and enjoy the peaceful scenery before continuing.

Near the northern end of Lake Escondido, we leave the paved road behind and begin our 4x4 adventure. We follow old logging roads through the forest, travelling over uneven terrain and along trails inaccessible to conventional vehicles. The route reveals a wilder side of Tierra del Fuego before bringing us to the shores of the impressive Lake Fagnano.

Here, the forest opens up to reveal sweeping views across the lake, its vastness a striking contrast to the landscape we have just travelled through. We pause to enjoy the surroundings, explore the shoreline and photograph this beautiful corner of the island.

The experience continues at an exclusive forest shelter, far from the bustle of the city. While your guide prepares lunch, you will have free time to take a walk nearby, explore the shore or simply relax and listen to the sounds of nature.

We share lunch in the comfort of the shelter, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere and time to chat and unwind. Afterwards, we begin our journey back to Ushuaia, rounding off a day of adventure, scenery and the natural beauty of Tierra del Fuego.
