The experience
Discover Tierra del Fuego National Park through its walking trails on a tour designed for cruise passengers and tailored to your time ashore. We meet you at the port and follow National Route 3 towards Cañadón del Toro, where we begin exploring the peat bogs and forests. A walk beside the Pipo River leads to a small waterfall as we learn about Ushuaia’s past.
We continue to Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, where the mountains, forest and Beagle Channel meet. Here stands the End of the World Post Office, which we can visit if it is open. We then follow a section of the coastal trail through evergreen forest and small beaches, enjoying views across the channel.
Our journey continues towards the Lapataia River and Lake Acigami, surrounded by mountains and native woodland. Finally, we visit Lapataia Bay, combining short trails and viewpoints while learning about the park’s habitats and the impact of beavers. A stop at the sign marking the end of National Route 3 completes our visit.
At the end of the tour, we return to the port in time to board your ship. The walks and order of visits are adapted to your cruise schedule, conditions on the day and the group’s pace. An experience for those who want to explore the park on foot and enjoy a closer connection with nature.
