City Tour Ushuaia Below Zero

The experience

We pick you up at your accommodation to discover Ushuaia, a city between the mountains and the sea, with postcard views around every corner. Along the way, we explore scenic viewpoints, historic neighbourhoods and iconic landmarks, discovering the landscapes and stories of the city at the End of the World.

We head to the upper part of the city, towards Martial Glacier, to enjoy panoramic views of Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel and the mountains of the Chilean islands beyond. It is an ideal opportunity to take photographs and appreciate the city's remarkable natural setting.

We also visit La Misión neighbourhood, an area closely connected to Ushuaia’s early years and the history of the Anglican Mission. We explore the surroundings of Bahía Encerrada, a natural area beside the city where coastal scenery and birdlife offer a different perspective on the capital of Tierra del Fuego.

We continue along the waterfront, discovering landmarks that reflect the city's identity: the Port of Ushuaia, the Argentine Coast Guard, the End of the World Museum and Plaza Malvinas. Among historic and modern buildings, we stop at the Ushuaia sign for one of the city's classic photo opportunities.

The tour continues along San Martín Avenue, the city's main shopping street, where shops and restaurants stand alongside old houses that preserve its architectural heritage. We also view the exterior of the Maritime and Prison Museum, whose history offers insight into Ushuaia’s past as a penal settlement and its influence on the city's development.

We finish the tour with a deeper appreciation of Ushuaia, its history and the landscapes that make it unique.
